In light of the short-form video boom ushered by TikTok, Nationwide is investing in its online video strategy, testing TikTok competitor YouTube Shorts and hiring influencers to help keep up a steady stream of content.

Nationwide’s iconic jingle inspires viral Tiktok audio
In partnership with Zaya’s family, the Nationwide social media team launched a TikTok challenge to benefit high school music programs. In December, five schools were awarded $5,000 based on the number of likes they received on the platform. The initial contest video gained almost 4 million views, according to Daraban.

Hollister #AllEqual Anti-Bullying & Youth Culture Campaigns
At Hollister, Kristi launched and scaled multiple youth-driven social campaigns including #AllEqual and “Blue Shirt Day” to raise awareness around bullying. She collaborated with teen influencers like Brent Rivera, developed a video curriculum distributed to 20,000+ schools, and built campaigns that centered on authenticity, identity, and peer empowerment—driving millions of impressions and deep community engagement.

Kristi orchestrated social amplification and live event coverage for major fan experiences, including the Radio Disney Music Awards and Disney’s D23 Expo. For the D23 “Waffle-inator” experience featuring Phineas and Ferb, she helped bridge physical activations with digital content that reached multi-platform audiences and encouraged real-time engagement.

Disney Channel Franchise & Original Programming Campaigns
Kristi led end-to-end social strategy for several of Disney Channel’s most successful original shows and movies, including Descendants, Gravity Falls, Austin & Ally, and Teen Beach Movie. Her work helped launch and scale fan communities from the ground up, growing follower counts into the millions. She developed global campaigns, live event coverage, influencer collaborations, and content that supported award-winning programming—contributing to Emmy, BAFTA, and Kids' Choice Award wins across properties.

Dreyer’s/Edy’s "A Reason to Smile" Campaign
Kristi led digital support for Dreyer’s/Edy’s Slow Churned “A Reason to Smile” campaign, a purpose-driven initiative benefiting Operation Smile. The campaign invited consumers to upload photos of their “ice cream smile,” with each submission triggering a donation to fund cleft palate surgeries—merging emotional storytelling with social activation and community impact.

Kristi supported Nesquik’s youth engagement strategy by activating a national partnership with professional tennis stars Bob and Mike Bryan. The integrated campaign combined experiential events, press features, and grassroots promotions—including the Little Mo International Junior Tournament—positioning Nesquik as a fun, active lifestyle brand for families.
